Felipe Colina is a self-taught artist guided by the Letters of Van Gogh. He uses rich textured backgrounds, expressive brushwork, and balanced compositions in his paintings.
To build his creative style, Felipe would routinely practice drawing from life at Ocean Beach and Golden Gate Park during the day. At night, he would copy works from the great masters.
"Art is the product of the human spirit, and I seek to produce that and evolve from painting canvases to structuring societies."
