When Kenna Lindsay started their painting practice in adulthood it was in a dark basement with no windows, so the first thing they set out to do was make some windows for theirself. Behind those windows there were clouds and they liked them, but they wanted to love them, so they set out to paint clouds until they did. Now Lindsay loves their clouds and looks forward to where the softness and lightness will lift them next in this personal visual exploration. In their work they are interested in color, the interactions of light and objects and the ways architecture communicates ideas about space.
