Paul Lewin was born in Jamaica but has called the Bay Area home since 2004. He learned the beauty of creating from his father, who also instilled in him a love for storytelling—which he strongly implements in his compositions—and an interest in ancient societies, science, and history. His home was filled with paintings, sculptures, and artifacts of diverse cultures from around the world.

"My intent is to create alternate worlds with various elements of African and Afro-Caribbean culture. The subjects in my work represent the ancestors. Ancient ancestors, futuristic ancestors, interdimensional ancestors, and all the other beings that inhabit the spirit world."
