Edric Ivan Soltero [@EdricIvanStudios] is a traditional and multimedia artist exploring drawing, painting, digital illustration, and animation working out of Art Explosion Studios. Ivan’s background in soccer led to his love of San Francisco and the creative opportunities this city has to offer. ⁠

Ivan’s process begins with immense planning, color selection, and composition groundwork involving research of thumbnails and original image sourcing. Like many artists, Ivan works on two to three different projects at a time to avoid overworking a single piece. Ivan’s practice is rooted in creating art from scratch like stretching canvases and upcycling materials.⁠⁠
