Alyssa Aviles is a printmaker and educator. Alyssa explores the symbolic relationship between the graphic arts and her Latinx heritage. She develops archetypes that allude to the interconnectedness and concentricity found in Mesoamerican and matriarchal ideologies.
In her role as an educator, Alyssa aims to engage at-risk communities in creative practices as a form of healing and empowerment.
