Painter, collagist, expressionist, and photographer Dawn Rudd’s work is beaming with creativity and passion that lives within her. ⁠

As a resident of the Bay Area since 1990, Dawn credits the freedom and joy that the city brings with helping her find her artistic voice and style. Dawn’s art is “inspired by emotion, sound, by nature, movement and ritual,” in addition to “self expression and creative freedom.” ⁠

Dawn’s artistic gift also comes in the form of being a “synesthete” which means she sees “sound as color and patterns.” This perception greatly influences her artistic vision and is apparent in the use of bold colors and patterns that take center stage in Dawn’s work.⁠
