Raji Musinipally infuses her paintings with rich color saturation, emotions, and inspirations from her Indian heritage, travels, and new memories of California. Her wide-ranging styles include palette knife abstractions, cubist portraits, geometric urbanscapes, and impressionistic landscapes.

Raji explains how emotionally-driven her paintings are: “During the COVID lockdown period in 2020, I did many contemporary Indian figurative works. I deeply yearned for my homeland; I was missing India and my parents and was afraid for their safety and health.”

When Raji is looking for inspiration, she consumes her surroundings and takes photographs, capturing memories, new compositions, and color relationships for future paintings. Raji enjoys visiting San Francisco from the South Bay to visit her children and soak in the diverse and urban lifestyle.
