Serge Gay Jr. is a painter and muralist who depicts real world subjects into fantastically rich and intense settings with an incredible eye for detail. He is proud to call San Francisco his home as he adds to the overall beauty of our streets with his captivating murals.

Serge’s surrealist lens is rooted in his love of the narrative, “Storytelling is very important, if not the most number-one thing. I want to make sure that it's my story within my experience, told in such a dramatic visual way.” He attributes our amazing city to his creative prowess “SF has very much influenced my art, allowed calmness, a much-needed focus to my craft, and my life.” As a morning person, Serge wakes up, sips on coffee, and starts painting right away. “I have the most energy and clean creative mind in the morning. That is when I'm at my best.”

With murals all over San Francisco and the Bay including a new piece in San Jose, and artwork up at Sup. Mandelman’s Office, D8 it’s hard to not experience Serge’s familiar yet other-worldly mastery.
