Usha Shukla is an abstract floral artist expressing the textures and hues of nature through vivid color selections, fluid paint, and air. Usha’s goal is to capture constant movement without referencing any physical forms. She has been a Bay Area resident for 25 years and relishes the cultural diversity of the region.
Usha utilizes her intuition when creating her compositions “When painting, I immerse myself into the process, get into a meditative trance, and let the painting guide me. It is always a process of letting go and being in control.” He work sparks cheerful emotions like joy and awe while also having depth of character due to her Indian heritage the immense color usage of the subcontinent.
Usha’s work was displayed at the Jennifer Perlmutter Gallery in Lafayette, Summer 2022.
