Kuntal is a talented painter that has a focus on still life, landscape and portraiture. Her oil paintings and mixed media work capture the inner essence of the subject while having the technical skills to reinforce her creative voice. ⁠

⁠Kuntal begins each piece with a sketch and perfects the image through several iterations. Once satisfied, she brings the drawing to life via oil on canvas. Kuntal explains her creative objective, “Throughout the entire course of my work, my main artistic concern has been focused on expressing human emotions and experiences through the colors on my canvas.” She has been able to combine inspirations from her former location in Rajasthan, India along with the SF Bay Area’s culturally diverse ecosystem to guide her practice.⁠
